English 2 I am looking forward to working with the Sophomore English 2 students again this year. I am hoping that a mixture of California Content Standards lessons in grammar, vocabulary and writing, mixed with our literature selections, and assessed with a mixture of subjective, objective,and project assessment tools will be stimulating and challenging. Our literature for this year will be: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee* Night by Elie Wiesel* (The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway) Julius Caesar or Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare* Lord of the Flies by William Golding* I look forward to meeting and working with all my students and their parents this year. * Literature is currently available on this web site as an audio file
