The ELA/ELD Standards Correlations Matrices address the following domains:

• Listening and Speaking Strategies and Applications
• Writing Strategies and Applications
• Written and Oral English-Language Conventions
• Reading: Word Analysis, Fluency, Systematic Vocabulary Development, Comprehension and Literary Response and Analysis

In addition to the domains listed above, all of the matrices were written to address the four ELD proficiency levels required in the one hour of ELD instructional materials:

• Beginning (B)
• Early Intermediate (EA)
• Intermediate (I)
• Early Advanced (EA)
