Welcome to Our Home Page! Hey there! You've found Mrs. Witter's Sixth Grade class...well, the website anyway. Here in room E1, we try to get everyone's needs met and ideas heard. As far as my philosophy as an educator, I see my role as one of a facilitator/messenger(without the bike, of course). With the constructivist model in mind, students are encouraged to explore information, and put things together to make sense of the world around them and become life long learners. "A closed mind gathers, well, not much." You can quote me on that one folks! So...keep a close eye on this site to stay informed about assignments, activities, field trips (this includes the chaperones joining us), and anything else worthy of tellin' out loud....Happy trails.
