·   Teardown and Reassemble a Briggs & Stratton 3.5Hp 4 Stoke-Cycle engine

·   Investigate the theory behind 4 stoke and engine component ID!

2nd  period

Introduction to Automotive Technology

·   This course is designed to introduce student into Automotive Technology

·   This course will teach students how to buy and maintain a vehicle

3rd  period

open to Juniors and Seniors or Sophomores who are 16yrs of age

ROP Automotive Technology 1*

·   Basic Automotive Technology Curriculum is design to meet ASE, SCOE and the automotive industry standards to becoming an entry-level technician.

12:30pm-3:30pm

open to Juniors and Seniors or Sophomores who are 16yrs of age (Students must have transportation to Host H.S. campus )

 

 

San Juan & Del Campo

 

 

 

ROP Automotive  Technology II**

·   Advanced automotive curriculum is designed to meet four of the NATEF/ASE Specialty areas

·   Auto II prepares student for entry-level employment within the automotive industry

·   Student will earn credits as intern/apprentice technicians through on-the-job training

·   Student will be prepared for ASE Certification Testing  

12:30pm-3:30pm

open to Juniors and Seniors or Sophomores who are 16yrs of age

 

·   Students must successfully completed ROP Automotive Technology 1 with or a C’ or better and/or upon instructor recommendation

·   Sstudents must have transportation to host H.S. campus and Job Sites

*ROP Mobile Electronics

4-7pm Tue/Thur

open to Juniors and Seniors or Sophomores who are 16yrs of age

San Juan H.S.

 

*These courses are articulated with American River College.  Students can earn Community College units by passing these course with a B’ or better.
