We still have candy, and plenty of it, so let us know if you still want to check some out for the holiday break. Just bring back whatever you don't sell.

Sly Park Payment!
I will be sending out final balances as soon as all the candy that is out is returned and accounted for. Look for a notice about how much your child still owes when we return from break .

Sly Park Update!
Thanks to all the folks who volunteered to give up a week of their lives at camp! We will be trying to get all the driver paperwork done for the office ASAP so we know who is travelling with whom on Monday, May 3rd. If I have sent insurance paperwork home with your student, please fill it out and return it to me or the office this week.

Jog-A-Thon!
NICE WORK 6TH GRADE! 526 laps for our class! Please share your results with your gracious sponsors and collect all donations. Turn in money to school the week of March 22nd!

It looks like folks may need to take a little more care with their notes prior to taking science quizzes. Back to Social Studies this week!

HOMEWORK!
Math: No work means NO CREDIT!
Read and Respond: Minimim of five summary sentences about what you read. Type if you wish and just bring in all four signed on Friday.
Spelling: Neatness counts! Spell the words correctly in practice! They are right in front of you!!!

AR Reading!
Most students have taken their first test on a book they read on their own. We are shooting for 85% or better for comprehension, so please emphasize reading carefully.
We are shooting for the kids to finish a book and take an Accelerated Reader book test every two to three weeks.
To check that the book is appropriate for your child's reading level, go to arbookfind.com and type in the title!

(Please ask your child for their weekly review sheet every Friday in order to stay up to date on how they are doing.)
