Rio Americano's Debate Team Goes 'Undefeated'!
At the recently held debate tournament hosted by Mira Loma High School, Heaven Edwards and Isabelle Lasalle went undefeated in the Parliamentary Debate. Each was awarded a trophy and the well earned respect of their team mates and worthy debate opponents. Also qualifying in the final rounds of the Parliamentary Debate were the team of Austin Hicks and Zach Diggs! Way to go guys! Also competing on Saturday at Mira Loma were Ramsey Karim and Saleem Obeidat. They won one of their debate rounds! Good work guys! Also representing Rio at the tournament was Cameron Cannon. He held the prestigious position of Presiding Officer for the Student Congress rounds! A very special thanks to the parent volunteers who made this experience possible.
Special congratulations to John Ferrannini for placing eighth in Student Congress at Saturday's tournament on Saturday. Eight students participated and Rio made its presence known!!
