Mrs. Shaw's Science and Math Classes
Welcome to Seventh Grade Life Science, and Pre-Algebra
LIFE SCIENCE
Life Science is the study of living things. Our studies will include but are not limited to; science research and lab skills, lab safety, cells, genetics, evolution, body systems, plants, and animals.
For this class students will need these materials each day: -
spiral paper notebook (several of these will be needed throughout the year) -
glue stick -
scissors -
pencil pouch with pens and pencils There will be a book available in class, and one to leave at home for homework.
The following items are optional, but helpful: -
colored pencils -
highlighter - pencil sharpener
PRE-ALGEBRA
Pre-Algebra is a preparatory class to help students succeed in passing Algebra. Come ready to practice and learn. For this class students will need the following materials each day:
- Pencil
- Paper
- Workbook (kept in class)
- Textbooks will remain in class unless needed for additional practice
Calculators will not be used in this class.
