Dear Students and Families,

I can't believe we are entering our third and final trimester! This year has zoomed by! We still have some ground to cover before the end of the year.

You may notice a change in homework as we add some additional assignments to prepare for both STAR Testing and Fourth grade. Students should have a list each night on their homework sheet of what needs to get done.

Miss Cutter has settled in as my co-teacher and the students have reaped the benefits of having two teachers in the room. She did a super unit on figurative language and students wrote some very touching poetry. It is great to see them apply this descriptive vocabulary in their other writing assignments!

After Spring break we will spend 6 weeks reading, writing, and studying mysteries. There are some fun activities that go along with this unit, and it is always a third grade favorite.
