Student and adult musicians are invited to attend weekly summer band rehearsals. Summer Band is a reading band, in which traditional, contemporary, and pop music is rehearsed for fun. No concerts are scheduled. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the El Camino High School band room.

Camp Winthers Music Camp--August 2009 (watch for dates)

Camp Winthers is a one-week music camp for band students in the 5th through 12th grades. Concert bands and jazz bands are formed to accommodate the ability levels of all campers. Other camp activities include swimming, star hikes, skit night, lip sync contest, and evening camp fires.
