As a member of the Eagle Bands, you are about to participate in the most active and exciting group on the El Camino campus. We will be present for the first football game of the year, and we will be present for the El Camino graduation ceremonies in June. Along the way, we will perform for literally thousands of people in a variety of formal and informal settings. The El Camino bands require extra time and work on the part of every member, but the results will be extremely rewarding.

A band handbook has been designed to ensure that all band students and parents understand the intent and purpose of our music program. As you read through the handbook, you will notice my goals are very simple: to provide creative, enjoyable and educational experiences for my students! I will expect and demand a high level of achievement, growth and success. It is only with great pride and commitment that we maintain our reputation as an outstanding organization and work towards the best quality band program possible.

Our philosophy in and outside the band room is: ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING! This means that anywhere we go, every time we perform and whenever anyone sees and hears the El Camino Band, they will remember us as a superior musical organization with outstanding students who leave a positive impression on those whom they come into contact. Every student is important to the band and plays a vital role, no matter what chair they sit in or what part they play.
