Welcome to Bridges
What is Bridges?
The San Juan Unified School District's comprehensive Bridges After-School Program provides FREE academic intervention and pro-social enrichment in a safe and positive environment. The Bridges After-School Program currently serves 3,500 students grades 1st-12th at 32 sites. Students realize academic success through the implementation of each of the four components of the program: academic support, enrichment/disguised learning, pro-social skills/recreation, and parent support and empowerment. In order for a student to be successful in the program, strong relationships between program staff, school staff, parents and students are needed. Relationships are key!
How Do I Enroll my Student in Bridges? To apply for enrollment in the Bridges After-School Program, please complete the Bridges After-School Registration Form, Parent Partnership Agreement and Emergency Form (available for download below). Send the forms to school with your child, and give them to the designated Bridges After-School Program Site Coordinator.
Priority enrollment is given to students who are currently enrolled in Bridges After-School Program and would like to attend the upcoming 2009-10 school year. Priority enrollment and open enrollment dates are TBA.
Space is limited, and is available on first come, first served basis.
If you have any questions, please contact Lacy Wormington at 916-496-2066 or email.
