Mrs. Gaggero Welcome to Mrs. Gaggero's First Grade Website! March news... the end of the second trimester is on March 12th. We've been busy with assessments for the last few weeks. I will be having conferences with some parents. If you would like a conference and have not been contacted, please let me know. I am always happy to meet. Report cards for students who are not having conferences will be sent home on Monday, March 22nd. Please note that March 17th - March 19th are Minimum Days for Parent Teacher conferences (7:50AM - 11:10AM) for all students. Spring vacation is Monday, March 29th - Friday, April 2nd. Enjoy some special spring family time! Please mark your calendar for Thursday, April 8th (7:00PM - 8:00PM) for Woodside's Open House. The first graders are eager to share the classroom with their families. Thank you so much for your support with homework. Please check the green homework folder for a daily list of assignments, the worksheet and the reading selection. The folder and the worksheet need to be returned every day. Math flash cards and Vocabulary Lists are on-going assignments. The flash cards and the vocabulary lists do not need to be returned every night. Please be sure to sign the assignment sheet when homework is complete. Thank you again for visiting my website. I am available to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have. A newsletter and calendar for all first grade students is sent home at the beginning of each month. It provides information about events, projects, curriculum and more. The weekly assignment page in the homework folder also includes reminders about special activities and events.
