Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season.
Parents, please don't forget to check all the papers in the weekly folder every Tuesday.  Important graded work, corrected homework, fliers and class work are in that folder.  Also, the Weekly Communication Form is in the folder.  This form informs you of how your child did on homework for the week.
During the second trimester, students are learning more challenging multiplication and division problems.  During car rides or over dinner, ask your child to recite multiplication math facts.  Your added support at home greatly helps your child retain information.
A goal for the next trimester is to focus more on critical thinking skills.  You can also support this life-important skill by asking your child lots of questions about many different things.  This encourages thinking which results in higher levels of understanding.
Thank you for all that you do to support your child's success!  I truly appreciate you!
