6th Grade Families,

I can't believe it is March already.

Just a quick reminder that school will be getting out at 11:40 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week to allow time for teacher/parent/student conferences. Mrs. Losk and I are eager to sit down and discuss your child's progress with you.  Yes, students are to attend!

In addition, we will be kicking off our "Penny for Patients" coin drive this week.  

Please encourage your child to bring in his/her loose change.  The money will be going to a wonderful charity.  All coins are appreciated!

Spelling list #25 will be introduced on Monday.  Please ask your child to share it with you. To help your child study the pattern, please have your child sort the words by like combination.  I will model this in class on Monday.  Spelling tests will be on Friday.

In social studies we will spring forward to chapter 19, China.   Please ask your student to share some of the new vocabulary we are learning.  If you have any information to add or to enhance our learning, please do not hesitate to share your thoughts.
