Welcome to Room 9!

This is my 10th year at Deterding and my fourth time teaching a 4/5 combo.

Supplies
-backpack that can hang on chair - no wheels please    -1' - 1¹/₂ loose leaf binder to hold your agenda, HW folder, and binder paper (Please no work on spiral notebook paper and no huge binders that can't fit desk)
-many pencils with eraser caps - all daily work will be in pencil
-1/4 inch graph paper for math (keep at home)
-large eraser
-hand held pencil sharpner that catches the shavings
-water bottle
-2 pocket folder with holes to fit in binder
-a large glue stick or 2 small glue sticks
-small box or pencil pouch to hold things
-scissors
-1 small stapler and staples                                           -box of 12-24 colored pencils("Twistables" brand break easily) -2 black Erasermate pens - Not for daily work                 -1 box tissues for class (turn in to Mrs. Gibbons)
-1 bottle hand sanitizer for class (turn in to Mrs. Gibbons)

Daily Schedule - tenative                                          We will have different schedules for different days

Monday and Friday all students go to same lunch.           

Tues., Weds., and Thurs. 4th & 5th graders go to separate lunches, and have grade level time for Social Studies and Science.

Field Trips

Ther are many field trips planned for our class this year covering standards in both grades.  As soon as dates are finalized, I will give out specifics.
