Ahoy Mateys!, January 30, 2010
Well, I would say we had a successful adventure in San Francisco. The lads were wonderful and had quite a momentous experience that they will keep with them for years to come. We had fabulous weather and a fine crew of charcters that kept the kids working busily throughout their stay.
I want to firs thank all of our drivers, for without them we could not have made the trip there and back safely. Mrs. Edelmayer, Mrs. Sagale, Mrs. Pallesen, Mrs. Scarborough, Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Dubinetskiy, Mr. Tiedeken, Mrs. Soloman, Mrs. Hayden, and Mrs. Alcalay.
Next, I have to thank our Tall Sailors who endured the cold night, lack of sleep, and for keeping their mouths closed when they wanted so badly to help the lads with their chores, problems, and questions. Mr. Door, Mr. Stanton, Mrs. Tiedeken, Mr. Kelly, Mr. Soloman, and Mrs. Chacon. I will be working on CD's for everyone that will include all pictures of our stay aboard the Balclutha. Pictures courtesy of Mrs. Chacon our Historian.
Enjoy your weekend and I'm sure you had a quiet Friday night as the lads recouped from their lack of sleep....trust me...they were up most of the night. It was a pleasure to watch them work together in their crews to complete their tasks. I am very proud of each and every lad!
Thank you for allowing me to take them on this exciting adventure!
