The students in this course will discuss, analyze, and interpret United States History from the creation of the United States Constitution through the Civil War and Reconstruction periods. A unit at the beginning of the course reviews the colonial and revolutionary periods of our country's history. At the end of the course students will look at the United States following the Civil War/Reconstruction period.
