Contact Partner Teacher
All Students Will Have An Email Account From SJUSD

 

All Gen YES students will be assigned an email account in order to efficiently communicate with their partner teacher.  A detailed training on how to use district email will be given and a variety of email skills will be taught. These accounts should only be used for professional communication from Gen YES students to their partner teachers and all messages sent will automatically be carbon copied to Mr. R’s school email account. The first email sent will contain a Word document that students prepared introducing themselves and describing their Gen YES responsibilities.  Once the teacher has responded, students will schedule an appointment to discuss their first project.   When students meet with their Partner Teacher they must complete the Project Manager Form in order to organize a plan they will utilize to complete the project.
