Generation YES Class » Create The Classroom Project

Create The Classroom Project
The Project - The Lesson - The PORT

Once the Gen YES students and the partner teacher have
agreed on a project, then the Project Manager Application Form (displayed to the right) must be completed. This document is vital since it is the blueprint of the proposed project.

Information on the form will be:
  • The due date of the project
  • A detailed summary of the  project
  • Software used
  • Hardware used to make and present the project
  • Specific State Standards that will be addressed
  • Internet sites and links used
  • An approximate presentation date

Once complete, students must retype the application form then email the Word document to Mr. R for approval.

Students and partner teachers will make modifications to this document as work on the project moves foreward. Think of these changes as scaffolding to the finished project.

Mr. R will always answer questions and assist students through out this process, but he will never touch a lap top keyboard.  These assignments will be 100% student produced. Gen YES students must be able to work independently and efficiently using every minute of class time wisely. It is important not to fall behind since a teacher is relying on you.
