Computer Math Projects
Through out the year Pasteur math classes are assigned computer projects in order to increase their understanding of a variety of math skills we will be learning. Different software application will be used to incorporate these skills into presentations to be shown to the class. Applications such as iMovie, Comic Life, Power Point, Pod Casting, and many Internet techniques will be explored as well as fundamental classroom presentation skills. The goal is to show that mathematics can be used outside the textbook and has “real life” applications that can better help students understand the material they are learning as well as show why we are learning a particular concept.
