Students have been given their parts for our production-"Get Hoppin'". Please practice with your student. They will need to memorize their lines for the show. Have fun with this.

Conferences are this week. Kindergarten schedule remains the same.

You would already have been notified if a conference was needed for your children for the second trimester grading period. Report cards will be issued on Friday March 19th. Conferences will be held March 17th, 18th, and 19th.

Our new Social Studies unit will be a unit on mapping and map vocabulary. This week we will discuss and learn about neighborhoods and "models" of neighborhoods.

We will continue theme 8 , Down on the Farm, in our reading series. We will learn our new alpha-friend A We will be reading words with the short "i"and short "a" and short "o" sound. Our new word of the week is "play".

In math we will practice equivalents using dominoes, addition and subtraction story problems, and learn about the meaning of the word "half".
