Orangevale Open raised $ 1087.50 in the Pennies for Peace Program to raise money for girls' schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan!  Read Greg Mortensen's book Three Cups of Tea for background information.  

We collected 54,945 pennies, 1568 nickels, 1925 dimes, 905 quarters, and 4 $1 coins. We also collected $36 in bills, mostly $1's.
