Welcome to the Cameron Ranch School Library Website.

Dear Parents and Students,

Happy New Year to you and yours. I don't really ever have a New Year's resolution...but I feel the need to re-commit to myself and others to be actively positive (and present)in all my endeavors. Droning along doesn't seem like a good way to start off the Year of the Tiger.

Over the Holiday break I read the following children's books and would like to recommend them as reading material for your student and yourself. They are:

The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCamillo

Childtimes by Eloise Greenfield & Lessie Jones Little

The House of Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros

Every Little Thing by Cynthia Rylant

I encourage parents to volunteer in the classroom and on the school grounds. It makes a HUGE difference in your student's life. Yes, YOU DO have something to offer.
