The Spirit of San Juan awards celebrate individuals and groups within our school communities who exhibit exceptional character, remove barriers and provide an inclusive environment for all. 

Help us honor and recognize students, staff members and volunteers for their outstanding contributions to our district this year.

From paper crowns to future careers: Encina CTE students gain real world teaching experience at Greer

Every Wednesday afternoon, the short walk from Encina High School to Greer Elementary School becomes a bridge between two classrooms and two age groups brought together by learning, creativity and connection. The weekly partnership gives Encina students hands-on experience in the education field while providing Greer first graders with additional academic and social support.

Applications for the State Seal of Civic Engagement open through March 13

Applications for the State Seal of Civic Engagement are now open. This opportunity is available to 11th and 12th-grade students who are engaged in their coursework, show a solid understanding of U.S. and California government, have participated in one or more meaningful civic engagement projects that address a real-world issue and demonstrate a commitment to positively impact their school, community and/or society.
