Biking and Walking Safety
Please be mindful of others using the sidewalks and streets to get to and from school, especially along Bell Avenue between Hurley and Arden. With so many children travelling to and from Encina each day either on foot or by bike, accidents involving vehicles are always a possibility. If you use a car, please drive with caution and obey the speed limit. If you cycle or walk, stay in your assigned route (bike lane or sidewalk, respectively) and remain vigilant of car traffic. Commuting with caution is the best way to reduce the likelihood of someone being injured or getting into a vehicle accident. So please travel to and from school with care.
