• About Me

I have been teaching Kindergarten for seventeen years and I absolutely love it - I love how fast they grow into students! The wonder and magic when they get something they've been working so hard on...it's amazing to see. I entered into the education profession because when I was in college I got a job working with 2 year olds and I discovered that I really enjoyed working with children and watching them grow. I especially love the youngers because you see them grow and change so quickly. Prior to joining Schweitzer I worked four years in Early Childhood Education (ECE) as well as Discovery Club, a state preschool, and also a teen parent program. I'm very fortunate to be in my twenty-third year as a Schweitzer Wildcat! My favorite activity of the year at Schweitzer is definitely the Fall Festival. I never really get to see the rest of the festival but I have a LOT of fun seeing everyone at the Cake Walk which I volunteer at!  I have two kids and both of them are former Wildcats.
