Sem. 2 ERWC 4 modules--Juvenile Justice; Language, Gender, and Culture; 1984; and, SR. Research Project + read and study two novels in-depth--Fyodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment and George Orwell's 1984.
Sem 2. AP Lang/Comp-- F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, Frank Doerr's All the Light We Cannot See, and Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner. Plus, students will complete two full AP Language practice exams, including two full-length multiple choice tests and six free response essays. Additionally, students will elect to submit either two performance tasks for the AP Seminar digital portfolio or do two literature based thematic projects. One PT will include an 8-10 minute group multimedia presentation and the other will include a six to eight minute individual presentation.
