I am a proud graduate of UC Davis. I have a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Biology and Management. I earned my Masters of Science in the Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Conservation Biology from California State University, Sacramento. For my master's thesis (which is bound in the Sac State Library-- read it if you ever suffer from insomnia :), I investigated and compared the swimming dynamics of river-born and hatchery-born Chinook salmon from the American River. I worked various field biology jobs before becoming a teacher, but ultimately, I knew I was destined to become a science teacher. I spent the first 12 years of my career teaching high school science, including Biology, AVID and Advanced Placement Biology. This is my sixth year at Churchill. I am proud to be a Bulldog!
In my spare time, I LOVE to travel with my family, read and practice my new love for photography. I have two children and a very spoiled dog (not in the picture, much to her dismay). We also really loved to visit Disneyland.
