My name is Ms. Miller.  I am a Sacramento-area native who went to Rio Americano High School, graduating class of 1998.  Directly after high school, I went to the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) for three years, then transferred to the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for an additional two years.  I graduated from both universities in consecutive years and ended up with a Bachelor of the Arts (BA) degree in Economics from UCSC and a Bachelor of the Sciences (BS) degree in Civil Engineering emphasis Structural Engineering from UCB.  After graduating from UCB in 2003, I worked in the engineering field for a few years, and ultimately realized how much I wanted to teach.  I went back to school at Chapman University for a teaching credential, taught the first three years at Inderkum High School in the Natomas Unified School District, followed by five years at Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy.  I'm so excited to be entering my tenth year of teaching at San Juan High School!  Please use any of the methods listed to the right to contact me (though e-mail, generally, is the best way to contact me).
