If your child will be absent or late (tardy) we ask that you call the 24-hour Absence Line at (916) 979-8171 and leave a message. You may also e-mail CameronRanchAbsence@sanjuan.edu If your child is absent and you have not called the Absence Line, you will be called to verify your child’s absence. The District requires a note from Doctor, Dentist, Counseling, etc. for your student’s absences. This will soon be mandatory by the State in order to have your student excused for the absence. For more information and resources about absences, please see the Attendance Page

Please drive into the parking lot, following the arrows all the way around and into the marked lane next to the curb and pull forward as far as possible before stopping to unload children. For the safety of our students please be prepared to follow the directions of school staff supporting the car line and traffic control. Do not leave your vehicle unattended at any time in the loading area; please park in the designated parking spaces available.
All students report to the lower parking lot with teachers after school for pick up.

Breakfast is served from 8:00-8:20. Free and reduced breakfast/lunch forms are available in the school office. Applications, menus, allergen worksheets and more can all be found by visiting Nutrition Services
Bringing in Food
Classroom treats and birthday celebrations require teacher approval in advance. Due to allergies, or food restrictions some snacks/treats may be denied.
If it is necessary for your child to take medication deemed necessary for pupils who have potentially life-threatening medical conditions or who need medication administered during the school day in order to interact appropriately in the school setting, a Physician’s Referral Form must be completed and on file in the school office. The medical form
is available in the school office and must be renewed at the beginning of each school year. Medication will be kept in the school office and will be dispensed through the office. Medication must be brought to the school office in the original container by the parent.
Emergency cards must be updated online through Parent Portal. This ensures that we can get a hold of someone in case of an emergency. Remember to update emergency cards throughout the year with new contacts or for numbers that have been changed.
