Q) What if my textbook can't be used again?
A) Excessive damage to a book that causes it to be unusable will result in the student being charged for the replacement cost of the book.
Q) How do I get another textbook if mine is lost or stolen?
A) As soon as the replacement cost of the textbook is paid, a copy of the receipt is all you need to clear the fine.
Q) What if a student pays for a textbook that is later found?
A) The book becomes the property of the student/parent as soon as the textbook bill has been paid. If a student later finds a textbook for which they have paid and the textbook is still a current adoption, the student will receive a refund. *** We do not refund for lost textbook novels.
Q) What if a teacher allows students store textbooks in the classroom?
A) Students store textbooks in classrooms at their own risk. A student is responsible for the textbook they checked out – not just any textbook. If the textbook disappears from the classroom, the student is still responsible for the textbook. We do not recommend storing textbooks in the classroom.
