• TUPE-Sponsored Programs 

     

    Prevention Programs, funded by the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) grant, offers support and resources to students district-wide. Programs at each site aim to improve students' academic success and overall school climate while encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles free from violence, alcohol, nicotine, and other drugs.

     

    Prevention Programs offer the following:

    • Club Live and Friday Night Live - A youth development opportunity for middle and high school students designed to build leadership skills and prevent substance use through weekly meetings and school-wide events. 

    • REACH One Alliance - A leadership club and campus-wide movement encouraging everyone to work toward their full potential, reach out to others, and live a healthy life free of tobacco and other drugs.

    • Teen Intervene and ASCENT - Cessation and intervention programs for youth who may be experiencing problems associated with tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs.

    • Youth Decoy - In partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Fresno, youth (14-17 years old) can serve as undercover retail data collectors to earn work/community service experience.
