• If you'd like to request a recommendation letter for college, scholarships, or summer programs, please stop by to ask me in person. I also request at least 4 week's notice before letters are due.

    Once I have agreed to write your letter, please send the following in an email. I do not need any hard copies of the information:

     

    • List of colleges you're applying to or program information
    • Grades in Junior English (both semesters)
    • CAASPP Test Scores from Junior Year
    • Quick summary of your IOP topic
    • What specific English skills are your best?
    • A resume or list of your extracurricular activities if you have it
    • List 5 words you'd use to describe yourself
    • Anything particular you'd like for me to include? Colleges often want to know about any special or adverse circumstances you've experienced.


    AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… keep me posted on where you get accepted and which school you choose to attend! :-)
