Our American Indian families and students enjoyed listening to Al Striplen, Native American Flute Player and a local Sacramento author during our Open House September 19, 2017. Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) officers were elected and information about the American Indian Grant was shared. We look forward to the collaborative work this year.

The Winter Gathering and Potluck is an event focused on bringing families together to share food and information about the SJUSD Indian Education Program. Diana Almendariz provided a cultural presentation on Tule and helped families create Tule friendship bracelets.
Senior Celebration: Date: April 28, 2015
The Indian Education Program Senior Celebration focuses on celebrating the accomplishments of the San Juan Unified School District Indian Education Program seniors. It is an evening bringing together families to celebrate the culmination of schooling in San Juan Unified School District. This event brings together families, community members, elders and staff to celebrate student achievement.
