• Fifteen years ago when I was visiting an orphanage in the Dominican Republic, I realized that the thirty children living there were only drinking milk once a day. Since then, the wonderful people in my life in Sacramento have been helping me raise money so that I can buy powdered milk for the children each trip.

Before Citrus Heights Elementary closed, my students decorated milk jugs and saved change from March until June to buy milk for the orphaned children.

Thank you to my loving students at Citrus Heights Elementary for inspiring...The Milk Project.
