Rio Americano Math Club meets during lunch every Wednesday in room D-3. Students from all levels of math have opportunities to receive help from peers, engage in problem solving by wroking on challenge problems, and prepare for the SATs, ACTs, and math competitions.The Rio Americano Elite Math Team has often placed within the top five when competing in mathematics competitions in the Sacramento region. Some of our students have even represented our school at regional, state and even national competitions.
California Math League:This competition always happens after school on a Tuesday from 3-3:30 in Mr. Baker's room, D-3. Graphing calculators are allowed but only regular calculators are necessary.
