Construction Technology is a sequence of three courses. Students learn carpentry technology, use of measuring instruments, basic hand and power tools, blueprint reading, site preparation for concrete work, wood framing, basic plumbing and electrical installations, roofing, exterior and interior finishing (drywall hanging and taping), and safety and first aide procedures. The skills learned can be used for immediate entry-level work or addition training in apprenticeship programs or higher education in construction management programs.

The program's mission is to enlighten and increase the awareness of high school students to career opportunities in architecture, construction and engineering and related areas of the design and construction industry through mentoring; and to provide scholarship opportunities for students in an inclusive manner reflective of the diverse school population.
