Del Paso Manor PTA News
Greetings and Welcome from the Del Paso Manor Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
By April 20, distance learning will begin for elementary school students. To help students stay connected to their classmates and teachers, the school is encouraging each student to have access to a device with internet access. This will allow students to log in to student email, Google Classroom and receive teacher instruction and assignments.
The school is making Chromebook devices available for pick-up on Monday, April 13th from 8:30 to 3:15, for students who do not have access to a device at home. Families will line up at the front office door to the school and form a line along the exterior MP room wall facing Maryal Drive. Tape will be on the ground with clearly marked X’s for families to stand to ensure adequate social distancing. The schedule is as follows. Please come anytime during your designated time slot as you do not have to arrive right at the beginning of the window.
8:30-9:30 - Families with more than one child attending DPM
9:45-10:45 - Kindergarten and 1st grade students
11:00-12:00 - 2nd and 3rd grade students
12:00-1:00 - Lunch for workers-no Chromebook Distribution during this time

2:15-2:45 - 6th grade students
2:45-3:15 - All students who were not able to come during their scheduled time.
The school is asking that if you have access to a Chromebook, laptop, and/or tablet at home for each of your students to please not come and pick up a device.
When you arrive, you will receive a device and an information packet about the device, available tech support, and internet access resources.
