•  High School Summer School 2021

     

    Extended Year Intersession - Bella Vista, Casa Roble Del Campo, El Camino, El Sereno, Encina (located at Edison), La Entrada, Meraki, Mesa Verde, Mira Loma, Rio Americano, San Juan

    For current 9th-12th grade high school students.  This program allows students a few extra days to work with their teacher of record to prevent them from receiving an F.  Students have the option to attend either virtually or in-person.  Contact your student's high school counselor for more information.

    Session 1:  June 10 – June 18, 2021 (Monday - Friday)

    Credit Recovery Seat-Based - Bella Vista, Casa Roble, Will Rogers (Del Campo students), El Camino, Edison (Encina students), Mesa Verde, Mira Loma, Rio Americano, San Juan

    Each high school will be hosting their own seat-based program.  Classes will be taught through a hybrid-model and online instruction.  Contact your high school counselor for more information.

    Session 1:  June 21 – July 8, 2021 (Monday - Thursday)  -  "JULY 5TH - HOLIDAY"

    Session 2:  July 12 – July 29, 2021 (Monday - Thursday)

    Student Eligibility Criteria for Summer School

    To ensure students are appropriately placed in limited summer school courses, enrollment will be considered in the priorities listed below. 

    • Current 12th grade student who needs 10 or less credits
    • Incoming 12th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate
    • Incoming 11th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate and/or who has failed a core class
    • Incoming 10th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate and/or who has failed a core class
    • Incoming 10th, 11th and 12th grade student who needs to take PE 2 and/or Health to maintain eligibility for enrollment in a specialized program in the fall.   No incoming 9th grade student eligible.

    These courses are offered through the independent study program. Students will be given independent study packets through El Sereno.  Students will have the option to meet with their instructor either virtually or in-person at least one day week.  Contact your student's high school counselor for more information.
