Possession of this certificate entitles you to expose Dental Radiographs in the State of California. This information will be provided to the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries for their records. The 65-hour course is taught in the evening and weekends, and is offered several times throughout the year. The course encompasses didactical, laboratory and clinical instruction in radiation safety. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: radiation production and safety; intra-oral exposure techniques; film processing; reading and mounting.
