Business and Community Partnerships

San Juan Unified is committed to developing, maintaining and expanding partnerships that offer students opportunities to engage, connect and contribute to their school and surrounding community. Each school site is unique and its needs are diverse, but through partnership, students benefit from a variety of programs that include, but are not limited to, after-school activities, mentoring, community service projects and internships.

We'd love to connect and see how your organization would like to partner with San Juan Unfiied School District. Partnerships will be placed at site, department or district level. Please contact Natalia Aguirre, District Community Engagement Specialist at to start the partnership conversation today.

Community opportunities

  • Community partners, show you are a leader by reading to a San Juan Unified class through our program called, Community Readership. This program highlights the importance of literacy within our diverse communites.  The process is simple, you will choose a book to read from our carefully selected library and read the book via Zoom to a pre-selected class.  That book will then be donated to that class. If you are interested, please email Natalia at
