In an effort to address and close achievement gaps, San Juan Unified creates partnerships with local corporations, businesses, nonprofits and faith-base partners throughout Sacramento County to support our schools, students and families with the most need.

Engage students, parents and teachers through school site partnerships
With 52 percent of the district's total enrollment identified as low-income, we rely on the support of our community partners to meet the needs of families in the district. These needs range from food, school supplies and clothing so that students come to school ready to learn.
Together, we can close achievement gaps and create opportunities that will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in school and beyond.
We're looking for community partners to support three areas of focus in order to achieve our district goals to close achievement gaps.
1. Provide mentors for low-income, African-American, English language learners, foster youth and homeless students.
2. Help us increase graduation rates of students through tutoring and college and career readiness experiences.
3. Offer internship and employment opportunities for students in the local community.
If you're a local business, community agency, faith-based organization or a member of the community, we invite you to complete our Community Partnership Interest Form and tell us how you would like to partner with San Juan Unified School District.
