    UPDATE (1/1/18):

    The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) will be reducing the price of monthly student bus passes from $55 to $20. The fare reduction is a part of a six-month pilot program to help increase ridership, including K-12 students who may not already use public transportation.

    The $20 student monthly pass and $10 student semi-monthly pass will go into effect on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, and will remain in effect through June 30, 2018. Advance sales of the January monthly pass have begun at the reduced price. 

     
     
     
     
     

    Student monthly stickers are available from the 25th to the 8th each month as follows:


          Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and

          Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. while supplies last. 

     

    San Juan Central will be closed for the traditional holidays and we will sell bus stickers on the dates we are open.

  • Discount Prices 

    • First half sticker is valid from the 1st to the 15th of the month and costs $10.00
    • Second half sticker is valid from the 16th to the end of the month and costs $10.00

     

    Only cash will be accepted.

     


    RT bus passes are available at San Juan Central located at 3700 Garfield Avenue, Carmichael and at various RT ticket outlets.  For a list of locations please go to www.sacrt.com for more information.

    Eligibility Requirements

     

    To use discounted RT Monthly Stickers, 
    • students must be between the ages of 5 – 18 and pursuing a high school diploma.
    • parent/guardian has to provide a proof of student enrollment in school if the student does not attend any of the San Juan Unified School District's schools.
