Class Description 

This course is designed to prepare freshmen students specifically for English 2, teaching them the necessary skills to be successful in reading, writing, researching, analyzing, speaking, and collaborating.  In this course, students will study several works of literature from different time periods and genres, including: Life of Pi, short stories, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, and Of Mice and Men. Vocabulary and grammar will also be emphasized throughout the course.
