Each Thursday after recreation we hand out samples of healthy food, mostly fruit and vegetables. Students get to taste and share with each other the experience while learning some ways the food is healthy and nutritious for them.
Some examples of what we have shared with the students are:
Grapes, Cherry tomatoes, snap peas, blueberries, Cherries, Bananas, health bars, trail mix, clementine's, apples, and kiwis.
