• Cross country running has the capacity to foster a lifelong commitment to health and wellness. For athletes that commit wholeheartedly to the season, pushing beyond perceived limits becomes an extraordinary tool for self-discovery and character building. The ability of athletes to answer to the team while working toward their own personal goals is one of the inspiring and unique aspects of this sport.

    We use a variety of cardio, strength training, and stretching techniques to promote overall body health and agility.

     We do our team workouts daily after school. The practice is from 3:10 - 4:30


    The Del Campo Cross Country program exists to create an accepting, supportive, and competitive environment that builds character and confidence in each runner.  


    Each team member will:

    1. Increase endurance, physical strength, and agility through daily running, stretching, and training activities that promote a fit lifestyle.
    2. Integrate skill and knowledge into a working model of healthy training and productive racing.

    3. Contribute to a competitive and supportive environment where positive emotional and social interactions build comradery and trust.

    4. Promote team success through individual achievements of athletes. 

    5. Make and maintain good friendships.
