• FLEX ID BADGE POLICY

    POLICY
    ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED to have their MVHS student ID badge with them when entering FLEX. This is true when they enter their scheduled FLEX period, a common area, or another one of their scheduled classrooms.

    PURPOSE
    For safety, efficiency, and attendance reporting during FLEX.

    WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BADGE?
    1. If you are new to MVHS you must report to A-21 (Mr. Anderson) during lunch to have a picture taken and
        a badge produced.

    2. If you are a continuing student and you have misplaced or lost your badge students must purchase a
        new one. Here is the process for purchasing a new ID badge:

       a.  Go to the Finance Office (Ms. Finney) in the main office and pay $5.00 for a new ID Badge.

       b.  Ms. Finney will provide you with a receipt.

       c.  Take the receipt to A-21 (Mr. Anderson) during lunch and provide Mr. Anderson with the receipt and
            new badge will be printed.

     WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T BRING MY BADGE TO FLEX?

    Step 1:  Verbal Warning from FLEX teacher.

    Step 2:  FLEX teacher will identify student/s who have forgotten his/her ID badge and administration will be notified. Students will be assigned detention. If student has lost his/her badge they will be asked to follow the above process and get a new one.

    Step 3:  FLEX Teacher will identify student/s who have forgotten his/her ID badge and administration will be notified. Students will be assigned Saturday School. If student has lost his/her badge they will be asked to follow the above process and get a new one.
