Year 4 = Intro to Engineering [IED] -
Open to 12th Only
Students identify a real-world challenge and then research, design, and test a solution, ultimately presenting their unique solutions to a panel of engineers.
Additionally they will be:
-connected to an engineering or manufacturing company for an internship experience based on their individual interest. This real world experience will give then a leg up on college enrollment.
- priority registration from some engineering colleges.
Successful Students have the following skills:
Successful completion of grade level math. (IM2, IM3)
Sees a problem as a challenge.
Wants a future in Engineering and Manufacturing field.
