    Shout out to Ms. Stephanie McIverand Mr. Nguyen for holding their first virtual group meeting with their students yesterday. It was great to see how happy they looked while talking with their students.

    A big shout out to Ms. Shannon Reneau who volunteered her time to assemble book bags to hand out to students that are in need of reading materials.

    Ms. Margolin would like to give a big shout out to Ms. Lott who always goes above and beyond to make sure that our students with visual impairments have all they need to continue distance learning. 

    A big shout out to Helen & Lauren for sharing some great social and emotion resources for adults and students on their Google Classroom site.  

    Shout Out to everyone on site at CR helping our students with meals, books, and making daily connections possible. Your efforts are an extraordinary act of commitment and kindness. 

    Shout Out to our Amazing Falcon Staff at home navigating daily learning and student needs. You have been doing this with Awesome smiles on your faces and Love in your hearts.

  • March Shout Outs

    Ms. Rowland would like to give a shout out to Trenell and Olivia for sending her a picture of their learning at home. It's fun to see what you are learning while we are not together.

    Mr. Piccardo would like to give a shout out to Mr. Gray for putting together resources for his students. Mr. Piccardo would also like to give a shout out to all the parents that are juggling multiple things in their households during these life changing times.

    Ms. Rodgers would like to give a shout out to Omar and Ayot for always helping her set up PE equipment in the morning and to let them know how much she misses you.  Ms. Rodgers would also like to give a shout out to Travis for keeping her company at morning cross-walk duty and always making her laugh and smile - She misses you Travis!

    Mr. Garrett would like to give Vivienne, Morrison, Daisy, Jayda, Austin and Chelsea a shout out for being on the zoom class meetings. He also would like to give a shout out to Mrs. Sloss, Ms. Nichole, Ms. Daisy, and Ms. Rodgers for joining the zoom morning meeting yesterday. It was so fun for the students to see all of us and our pets.

    The next shout out goes to Coach Mitchell for starting our day with a beautiful song emailed out to staff - thank you for sharing Coach! We love that it takes you back in time and you can still hear your mom singing the song.

    Ms. McCarthy would like to give a shout out to her students - Jazz, Teyom, Miguel, Quentin, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Nadeem, Mosawer, Andrew, Khaliiyah, Mustafa, Omar and Daniel - who come to the Zoom morning meetings! Ms. McCarthy misses all of you!

    Ms. McCarthy would also like to give a shout out to all the staff who have joined her morning meetings.  Thank you Ms. Witters, Ms. V, Ms. Margolin, Mr. Gray, Ms. Tamplin, Coach, Sheelah and Ms. Rodgers.  The kids really enjoy seeing your faces!

    And a big shout out to all our IAs for connecting with our students via Zoom - I'm sure the kids love seeing your faces!
