May 2020 Distance Learning and New Year Survey Results

  • In late May of 2020, the district asked parents and guardians to provide feedback on their student's experience with distance learning and possible options for the 2020-2021 school year. More than 9,000 responded to share what worked with distance learning and what could be improved. Results from the survey can be found in the document below. Responses to open ended questions are not included below as they have not been filtered to remove identifying information submitted by respondents.

You can also view a presentation given to the Board of Education on June 9 that breaks down key questions by demographic factors.

Be sure to view the results from our related Thoughtexchange that engaged more than 3,700 students, families, staff and community members to share hopes and concerns for what the fall of 2020 may hold.
