  • BOYS VOLLEYBALL MISSION:
    The goal of our program is to encourage and nurture the development of fundamental values on and off the court and to help these young athletes become strong, well-rounded young adults through their love of the game of volleyball. These goals can be accomplished by internalizing and executing every day to the following set of values: integrity, sportsmanship, teamwork and strong work ethic. It is on this foundation that we can build a successful program that our athletes, parents, school and community will be proud to support.

    The sport of volleyball is always evolving, and as your coaching staff, we pledge to stay current on the latest rules and coaching trends, and to constantly be a student of the game so as to better influence the progress of this program. By continuing to grow and refine our coaching methods, we aim to keep our teams prepared for the strain of a very physical sport played at a high level and to compete with teams in our league and region. Preseason practices and games will focus on fitness and fundamentals and progress into more complex strategy and decision making in preparation for league competition and playoff contention. As long as we maintain our focus on embodying our core set of values and work hard together each and every day, we are confident that we can build a program that wins on and off the court.

  • ABOUT
                    It’s hard to believe that this is my 15th year on the coaching side of this amazing sport! Coaching volleyball has become such a huge part of my life in ways I had never imagined. Having the opportunity to impact student-athletes in this positive way has proven to be so incredibly rewarding. While focussing on fundamentals, skill and strategy, I love cultivating an environment which teaches accountability, leadership and teamwork to our athletes - all valuable lifelong skills! Over the course of my coaching career, I have had the opportunity to coach boys and girls at the middle school, high school and competitive club level. My most recent venture running the Boys’ Volleyball Program has brought much excitement and thrill with the big swings and even bigger blocks. We look forward to another amazing year! Go Mavs!
